What to do if you have a significant collection of board games but have no one to play them with? Looking for someone to grind a 3 hour marathon of Star Wars Rebellion? At the Board Game House, we are frequently asked the question, “do people come by themselves and join others?”. The answer to this question is still only “sometimes”.
The following is a list of available options if you do not have anyone else to play games with:
- Come join our learn to play game nights on Wednesday Evenings starting at around 6:00pm. This can be a great way to learn a new game plus meet new people where everyone is generally on the same experience level. We minimize quarterbacking as much as possible and let you make your own decisions (with sometimes kindly helpful recommendations).
- Join the Mid-island Gamers Meet-Up Group. They meet here almost every Friday night starting around 5:30pm (best to check schedule in the link below just to confirm times). https://www.meetup.com/Mid-Island-Gamers/.
